• I believe that to get long term results, an invitation to a family meeting is a better approach than, SURPRISE!  
• Research shows that a less confrontational approach offers more than double the chance that a loved one will enter treatment or some kind of change process. 
• There are 4 primary steps that outline the process, but the core of this method is FAMILY. When a circle of Family and Friends surround the loved one with the power of love and invite them to be a part of an overall family remodel, the results speak for themselves. The Family unit (both of origin and choice) is an adaptable, resilient change agent for the entire Family allowing the loved one to change course along with everyone else in the system.
• In this approach the interventionist is NOT the most important person in the room. I believe that the family is inherently resilient and well-equipped to help and hope. I know that leverage exists in many shapes and sizes but bottom lines must be used sparingly. I needn't trap to treat someone in crisis. 
• I meet families right where they are and build on their primary skills, authority and relationships. ​

Why does this approach work?

This "Family” approach works because it focuses on the total picture and all of the people and dynamics involved. We do not single out the addicted loved one as “the problem” and we don't let labels and myths keep them from being held responsible for either healing the challenges or living with the consequences. They get to be unique, self-directed and responsible for their choices, just like anyone else. Most importantly WE NEVER ABANDON & WE NEVER NEGLECT.

WITHIN 2 HOURS OF MY OFFICE $4,000

• Transportation services to a local provider within 100 miles of the intervention location are included.
• Transportation services to a more distant provider are $2,000 plus travel expenses

​OUTSIDE OF 2 HOURS FROM MY OFFICE $8,000 + TRAVEL EXPENSES

• One night stay is assumed. Any additional overnight stay(s) due to travel complications or other circumstances are $2,000 per night, plus expenses.
• Transportation services to a treatment provider within 100 miles of the intervention location are included.
• Transportation services to a more distant provider or requiring an additional overnight are $2,000, plus expenses.​

Incudes:

• Prep work, the team meetings, and necessary followup sessions to facilitate entry into treatment and a transportation escort to the facility;
• Advising, screening and selection recommendations for inpatient, and/or outpatient treatment, interface between the team and the treatment provider; coordination of aftercare; integration planning if the person is returning home or to the community; advice on using self-help meetings, and setting up a self-help support network; addressing questions related to ongoing treatment and other functioning related issues; and emergency meetings if resumption of use occurs.
• 12 hours of tele-coaching over a 3 month period to support the process.

We do not bill insurance.
